Anik is an accomplished leader in the field of water economics, global water policy and water governance with over 20 years of experience. Anik is the Director of the Sustainable Water Future Programme (Water Future) of Future Earth. He is an Associate Professor at the Australian River Institute, Griffith University, Australia. He is also a Senior Fellow at the Centre of Development Research, University of Bonn, Germany and a visiting Professor at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. Currently, Anik is on secondment to FAO, Rome as a senior expert consultant to develop a global program on land and water.
