I am currently working as Professor & Head of the Department of Industrial & Production Engineering. I have started my career in year 1984 as Lecturer and has completed my 2 Masters Degree in Management & Production Engineering. I have finished my Ph.D in the area of Lean Manufacturing. I have been involved in Thrust Area Projects of AICTE in the Creation of CAD/CAM lab, Industrial Engineering Lab and Metrology Lab. I was the co-ordinator of TEQIP I Phase and involved actively in setting up and Modernizing the Research Labs. I was the PACE Integrator for 10 years representing SJCE and mentored the students to take part in International Programmes conducted worldwide. The students could bag several prizes. I am currently is the co-ordinator of Institutional Development of Engineering Education Association (IDEEA) and is actively involved in mentoring international projects.
Research Project
- Completed Modernization of Metrology Project – Under Modernization scheme of AICTE (6 Lakhs- Co-coordinator)
- Carrying out Modernization of Computer Aided Manufacturing Projects under MODROBS and the Department has been sanctioned 11 Lakhs. (Ongoing).
