Professor Baskaran is an accomplished strategic leader with high level knowledge and experience in strategic planning, with significant experience in the development and delivery of international education and research partnerships. He has extensive knowledge and understanding for the Australian Water Industry and successfully completed several industry funded research projects over the past 25 years.  Prof Baskaran was highly influential in establishing the International Centre of Excellence in Water Resources Management (ICEWaRM) and chaired its Board of Studies for several years.  In 2011, He was selected as one of the three leading researchers in the field of Water and Environment from Australia to participate in the “Visiting Researchers Program in Thailand” by the Australian Government.
