Lloyd Chua is an Associate Professor in Civil Engineering at Deakin University, Australia. He was previously with the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, Department of Informatics (LFB), Brandenburg Technical University, Germany and at the Department of Hydrodynamics and Water Resources (ISVA), Technical University of Denmark. He is the recipient the 2005 Hilgard Hydraulic Prize, awarded by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and has won best paper awards in 2003, 2013 and 2014. He also consults widely working with consultants on interesting industry and applied engineering projects.
