Prof Sivakumar is a Civil and Environmental Engineer, an Associate Professor and Academic Program Director of Environmental Engineering at the University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia. He has over 30 years of experience in research and teaching in Australian and overseas Universities. He has published over 200 technical papers including over 75 peer journal papers/book chapters that are relevant to water environmental engineering. Over 25 PhDs have completed under his supervision. As the founder of the Environmental engineering program at the University of Wollongong, Dr Sivakumar has been instrumental in bringing research and teaching activities in this area.
