Biography
Surendra Shrestha is an engineering hydrologist with both ground and surface water modelling experience. His professional interests range from surface water planning and management to stochastic ground water flow modelling. More recently, his involvement has been with academics, researchers and engineering professionals in mathematical modelling of the built environment.
Surendra is an Associate Professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering team within the School of Engineering at Western Sydney University and concurrently holds the position of the Associate Dean (Learning & Teaching) in the School. He is a Fellow of the Civil College of Engineers Australia and a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. He is also a Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and American Geophysical Union.
